Grand Opening Sale

Overview: The “Grand Opening Sale” promotional offer is a three-night, four-day stay at an Oropel property in Sarapiqui, Costa Rica at a discounted rate of $1925 per person. The rate includes all taxes and applicable fees, including restaurant gratuity. Any additional staff gratuity is at the discretion of the guest. Validity: All Grand Opening Sale purchases must be redeemed prior to August 31, 2026. After this date, the promotion is no longer valid and extensions will not be permitted. At no time will refunds be provided for any unused or no longer desired promotional purchase. 

 

Inclusions: Oropel’s “Grand Opening” promotion includes the following:  

 

• ​Lodging in one of Oropel’s brand-new accommodations, based upon availability. (While every effort will be made to meet all requests, cabana/bungalow selection cannot be guaranteed.)

• Three meals per person, per day, at local restaurants. Any dietary restrictions, allergies and/or preferences will be a matter of discussion between the restaurant and guest. Oropel staff will do their best to ensure guests' preferences and requirements are met in every instance. Alcoholic beverages are not included. 

• Transfers: Pick up and drop off between San Jose’s International Airport (SJO) and the Oropel property. 

• Activities, not to exceed two (2) total. Offerings are listed on booking page.  Please note that all members of  any given travel group will be required to select the same activities; therefore, all members will participate in the same activity at the same time. It is not possible to divide the group into separate activities as part of this promotion. A third activity, riverboat safari, is automatically included for all guests. 

 

Participants must submit their preferred activities no later than fourteen (14) days before arrival. Please note all activities are subject to weather conditions and availability. As such, Oropel reserves the right to substitute activities as necessary in consult with the guest. Participants are encouraged to obtain travel insurance, at their own discretion. 

 

Payment: The full amount of $1925 per person is due at the time of purchase. The promotional offer will no longer be available for purchase on December 2, 2024. The price is for adults and minors alike.

 

The Finer Print: Oropel intends to be under construction through 2026. As such, the property and available lodging will continue to change. Every effort to reduce interference from construction noise, debris and/or impact will be made. This includes ample “quiet hours” at which time construction will be prohibited. Oropel is welcoming to groups but may be limited on space. Oropel is therefore only able to guarantee housing of three (3) “Grand Opening” guests together at one time. While it is possible to house up to five (5) “Grand Opening Sale” guests in the same lodging, availability may be more limited. 

 

Aside from expiration, there are no timeline requirements for “Grand Opening Sale” guests. Any “Grand Opening Sale” purchases can be redeemed at any time up to expiration, as availability permits on a first-come, first-serve basis. Oropel retains the right to blackout dates --to include but not limited to major US and European holidays -- during which this “Grand Opening” promotion cannot be used. Oropel makes every effort to accommodate changes, requests and preferences for the best possible stay. However, no refunds will be provided for no-shows, delayed arrivals and/or early departures. Cancellations are not eligible for refund, but can be eligible for alternate dates if availability permits. 

 

This promotion is non-transferrable and non-redeemable for cash. Participants must adhere to Oropel’s safety standards throughout their stay, as well as commit to not harass or otherwise interfere with any wildlife on our property as well as within Costa Rica. 

 

Oropel is not responsible for any injury, loss and/or damage that may occur while participating in activities or in defiance of our rules and regulations. Minors but be accompanied by an adult at all times. The promotion cannot be combined with other offers, discounts and/or promotions.
